THE MISSION
The mission of the Human Life Protection Amendment initiative is to amend the Florida Constitution through a grassroots citizen effort so that the most vulnerable and victimized people group in our state is protected. In order to accomplish this, we need to secure 891,589 validated signatures from registered Florida voters by February 1, 2024 so that the Human Life Protection Amendment is on the ballot for the November 2024 election.
THE BALLOT SUMMARY
An amendment recognizing the God-given right to life of the preborn individual. Defines “preborn individual” as a preborn human person at any stage of development. Affirms that life-saving procedures to save the life of the mother shall not be construed as a violation when accompanied by reasonable steps to save the life of the preborn individual. To be added to the Declaration of Rights under Article I of the Florida Constitution.

Mark is the State Chairman for Protect Human Life Florida, the sponsoring committee for this citizen initiative to place a proposed amendment to the Florida Constitution on the 2024 ballot.
He was adopted as an infant, and as a result, has always had a high regard for the sanctity of human life.
Mark’s passion is to defend the defenseless, and he is inspired by Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s admonition to “drive a spoke into the wheel of injustice.”
In 2018 this led him to answer the call to fight for the constitutional rights of those who cannot speak for, or protect themselves.
